Environmental Footprint

As the revolutionized cannabis market evolves – it’s important to keep focus on what matters the most – the environment around us, and how we impact it.

The current cannabis market is forced to produce a lot of redundant waste due to the new and continuously changing regulations imposed upon cannabis products. We’re looking towards the future right now, and we choose to source our packaging materials from sustainable suppliers – with materials that are 100% recycled and environmentally friendly.

With a huge amount of waste resulting from new packaging materials, we want to reduce the use of plastics that take centuries to degrade, and are instead looking to alternatives such as environmentally friendly plastics. These plastics accelerates the natural degradation of the plastic into a material that is then consumed by microorganisms within the environment in as little as a few years. You can learn more about BIOLEFIN™ by viewing this PDF.

We currently source Acme Glass Containers locally from Paso Robles, California, 100% recycled packaging from EcoEnclose, and tamper-evident shrink wrap “BIOLEFIN™” – just a few of the ways we help reduce unnecessary waste. Read more about the companies we partner with below.

If your licensed cannabis company is interested in utilizing environmentally friendly shrink wrap as tamper-evident material for packaging compliance, please reach out to our wholesale/white label department for Cannabis Packaging as a Service.

By partnering with local companies like Greenerprinter for our marketing materials, we directly help contribute to saving 1,466 MBTUs of energy, 3,264 fully grown trees, 1.5 million gallons of water, 102,133 pounds of solid waste, and 281,301 pounds of greenhouse gases every year under their combined efforts. We believe all cannabis companies should start following in our footsteps, by being eco-conscious and aware to the changing times around us.

We also source additional packaging materials from our local friends at Sierra Packaging in Hayward. The legal cannabis market is new, open, and ripe for innovation. Right now is the time to start making a significant impact in the industry by developing strong relationships – from the farm to the consumer that impacts our world in a positive way.
